Currently, we fund more than 25 projects in countries including Cambodia, Philippines, Hong Kong, India, Myanmar, Singapore, Nepal, Vietnam and Thailand. These projects fall within 3, often overlapping, buckets: small-scale grassroots interventions, systems change solutions, and social sector ecosystem enhancement.

Teams that deeply understand the problem(s) they work to address, the communities they work with, and the system of related stakeholders.

Committed, thoughtful, and engaging partners with demonstrable experience and expertise

Solutions that are sustainable, uniquely address a gap in existing systems, and are ideally replicable.

Manan funds:

Organisations with strong leadership and clear, thoughtful strategic planning.

Partners that value good governance and have engaged, committed, and balanced boards.

Organisations with robust financial management and transparency.

Partners that value analysing and sharing results in order to learn from both successes and failures.

Manan does not fund organisations with explicit religious objectives or where all staff and board positions are not open to all sections of society irrespective of race, colour, gender, age, disability, sexual orientation, religion or belief. Manan sources partners through its own networks and does not accept unsolicited applications.
